The Scheme aims to enhance the quality of life for senior citizen women by providing essential amenities such as shelter, food, medical care, and entertainment, while promoting active aging through support for State/UT Governments, NGOs, and local bodies. Sarv Shramik Mahila Mandal has received approval and funding from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to operate a Home for Elderly and Destitute women in Parbhani. With a capacity of 50 beds, the organization offers strong infrastructure and networking capabilities to assist needy women in the area, operating under the guidance of the Central Government.
This innovative Rain Water Harvesting tool assists homeowners in the installation of efficient rainwater harvesting systems. Sponsored and guided by Dr. A.R. Shivkumar from KSCST IISc Bangalore and funded by UNESCO, the tool is available online for users to input essential details such as location, catchment area, number of floors, and household size. Leveraging 30 years of historical rainfall data specific to the user's locality, the system predicts the potential percentage of water that can be harvested throughout the year. Developed using Full Stack Development, the project ensures a seamless user experience and robust functionality.
